The Parish Council meets on the third Thursday of each month (except Aug & Dec), at YIPs, Nelson Gardens, at 7pm.

Inskip-with-Sowerby Parish Council encompasses the village of Inskip with the hamlets of Sowerby and Crossmoor all of which lie to the north-west of the City of Preston within the Borough of Wyre.
The Parish Council is made up of six elected members and it employs a part-time Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer who carries out the administrative work associated with the day to day running of the Council. It also employs a part-time Lengthsman whose job it is to keep the area neat and tidy with particular attention to grass-cutting and maintenance of planted areas.
