Blackpool Transport will cease operating the number 74 bus service

Blackpool Transport will cease operating the number 74 bus service after the last operation on Saturday 17 August 2024. Lancashire County Council Officers have commenced the relevant competitive procurement exercise to secure an alternative service provider to operate these services immediately following Blackpool Transport’s cessation.

There will be no break in service provision and there are no planned revisions to the existing route and times. Customers will just see a change of service provider from Sunday 18th August 2024.

Details of the new provider should be available in May 2024
