Inskip Community Drop-in Session 27th September 2023.
Inskip-with-Sowerby Parish Council (PC) is sponsoring a community drop-in session on Wednesday 27th September 2023. It will be held at the Young Inskip People’s (YIP’s) centre, Nelson Gardens, between 6pm and 9pm.
Everyone is welcome, you can stay as long as you like.
The PC want to know what you want for the village, so that we can develop a village plan.
We also want to encourage people to set up community groups with our help. If you have an idea for a group, please come along and let us know how we can help you to get it off the ground.
Most importantly, we need to know how you want us to communicate with you.
We will also have:
- CPR and defibrillator training
- Information on the Lancashire County Council Safe Trader scheme – find out how to choose a reliable tradesperson.
- Information on the Cosy Homes scheme – get information on keeping your home warm and saving money. Maybe you are eligible for a grant? Find out here!
- Mental Health and Wellbeing – do you or someone you know need to talk? Find out what services are available.
- Lancashire Road Safety Partnership – aims to reduce road casualties through the management of speed, enforcement, engineering, education and training • Net Zero – a community response.
- Police – providing there are no incidents that require their attention, we will have our local PCSO and/or PC in attendance.
Refreshments will be provided.
