Bus service re-route 26th Sept-24th Oct

After feedback from the bus operator advising us that Moss Lane was not a suitable route for their buses, LCC will be putting passenger information notices out on the affected bus stops with the following information.

Service 74 will proceed from Preston to Inskip (Carrs Green) then divert at the Derby Arms PH via Higham Side Road, Inskip Road and Roseacre Road to Elswick to resume route to Fleetwood

Return journeys via reverse of the above route. 

During the closure, Inskip Lodge Lane, Preston Road and Mill Lane will not be served. 

Customers are advised to catch the service at the unaffected bus stops in Elswick or can hail the bus at the Derby Arms PH

Unfortunately, this will inconvenience a number of passengers by travelling more distance to catch a bus.  School Transport team have been informed, and they will plan their best alternative route.
