(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) NOTICE 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council considers it necessary or expedient by reason of works being executed on the following length of road that the prohibition should come into force without delay under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this Notice.
- No person shall cause any class of traffic to proceed over that length of Preston Road, Crossmoor outside No 2 Crossmoor Cottages for approximately 10 metres in both a northerly and easterly direction.
- Nothing in this Notice shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
- The prohibition will be operative from 0910 hours on Tuesday 3rd October 2023 until 2359 hours on Friday 6th October 2023 or until completion of the works within this period.
- A diversion will be signed locally.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow immediate works to repair low voltage mains be carried out by Network Plus on behalf of ENW.
