1. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Civic Centre, Breck Road,
Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, FY6 7PU between the hours of 10 am to 4 pm (excluding bank
holidays) from Monday 9 February but no later than 4 pm on Friday, 13th February 2026.

2. Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Civic Centre,
Breck Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, FY6 7PU, during the times stated above.

3. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 12th March 2026.

4. New applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by midnight
on Tuesday, 24 February 2026. Applications can be made at: www.gov.uk/register-to-vote

5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations
of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Centre, Breck Road,
Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, FY6 7PU by 5 pm on Wednesday, 25th February 2026.
Applications can be made at: www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote

6. New applications for a Voter Authority Certificate (free voter ID) or an Anonymous Elector’s
Document valid for this election, must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the offices of
Wyre Council, Civic Centre, Breck Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, FY6 7PU by 5 pm on
Wednesday, 4 March 2026. Applications can be made at: www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id
voter-authority-certificate

7. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration
Officer at Civic Centre, Breck Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, FY6 7PU by 5 pm on
Wednesday, 4th March 2026. Applications can be made at: www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote

8. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on the grounds of physical incapacity
or for work/service reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Centre,
Breck Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, FY6 7PU by 5 pm on Thursday, 12th March 2026.

The physical incapacity must have occurred after 5 pm on Wednesday, 4th March 2026.

To apply on the grounds of work/service, the person must have become aware that
they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5 pm on Wednesday, 4th March 2026.
