Update on Cuadrilla site, Preston New Road

Cuadrilla have applied for a 2 year extension to their site at Preston New Road. This would take them to 30/06/27. The application has been lodged with Lancashire County Council and they have put the matter out for consultation before a decision is reached. The consultation ends 07/08/25.Cuadrilla are supposed to have decommissioned and restored the site by 07/06/2025 but have failed to do so and have effectively abandoned the site.
